論希思克利夫的復(fù)仇

Abstract
    Wuthering Heights is one of the most famous novels in the 19th century written by Emily. The main theme of revenge is portrayed through the character of Heathcliff. This paper depicts Heathcliff’s cruel and mean revenge, and tries to find the reasons for his revenge, then reveals that it is impossible for hatred to dominate the world. Hatred can’t exterminate love, no matter how brutal it is.  Love is more powerful than hatred. Only love can win improbity, and it makes devil give up hatred and revenge. Love is the right medicine to cure hatred and is the final home of the human society.

摘要
英國(guó)作家艾米莉•勃朗特的《呼嘯山莊》是109世紀(jì)最著名的小說(shuō)之1。小說(shuō)中復(fù)仇這1主題是通過(guò)希思克利夫這1人物形象進(jìn)行描述的。本文闡述了希思克利夫殘酷的復(fù)仇行為，并分析其原因，從而揭示了作者對(duì)愛(ài)恨的深刻理解：恨不能主宰整個(gè)世界，人們不能從恨中獲得幸福和快樂(lè)。不管恨有多殘暴，恨都消滅不了愛(ài)，愛(ài)比恨更有力量。只有愛(ài)才能戰(zhàn)勝邪惡，令惡魔放下復(fù)仇的屠刀。愛(ài)是醫(yī)治恨的良藥，也是人類社會(huì)最終的歸屬。
