Julia: Hello, can I speak to Mr. Smith?
Smith: Yes, speaking.
Julia: This is Julia speaking. I'd like to buy a stock.
Smith: What stock do you want to buy and how many?
Julia: I want to buy 1000 shares of Dubon.
Smith: Let me get the asking price of the stock. Just a moment. Oh, now the asking price is $80 each share. By the way, what is the offering price?
Julia: Let me see. The offering price is near or at $78.
Smith: Then the difference between the asking price and the offering price is $2. It's hard to take place today.
Julia: Do you mean that I have to buy at current price?
Smith: You can decide by yourself.
Julia: I heard that this stock would go up. Hmm, I will take it at current price.
Smith: So, now I will buy in. Are you sure? Julia: Yes, please.
1. 對(duì)話中Julia經(jīng)人介紹，找到了股票經(jīng)紀(jì)人史密斯先生。Julia說(shuō)她想買(mǎi)股票，Smith問(wèn)她，要買(mǎi)哪一支呢？要買(mǎi)多少呢？What stock do you want to buy and how many?
2. Julia說(shuō)想買(mǎi)1000股的杜邦股票。Share這里的.意思是“股，股份”，比如說(shuō)，$2 of shares are not worth $2.75. 2美元的股份現(xiàn)在值2.75美元，看來(lái)是升值了。
3. Smith要先查一下現(xiàn)在的賣出價(jià)是多少，就是the asking price of the stock。相對(duì)的the offering price 就是買(mǎi)進(jìn)價(jià)。現(xiàn)在Julia要買(mǎi)進(jìn)的股票的賣出價(jià)是80美元每股，那Julia能承受的買(mǎi)進(jìn)價(jià)是多少呢？
4. 大概在78美元左右。賣出價(jià)和買(mǎi)入價(jià)的價(jià)差是兩美元，看來(lái)今天是無(wú)法成交了。那么只能現(xiàn)價(jià)買(mǎi)入了嗎？Buy at certain price，意思是“以某種價(jià)格購(gòu)買(mǎi)某物”。take place 這個(gè)詞組表示“發(fā)生，舉行”。
5. 買(mǎi)還是不買(mǎi)，就看Julia自己決定了。她覺(jué)得這支股票的價(jià)格會(huì)上漲，應(yīng)該會(huì)賺一筆，所以還是決定以現(xiàn)價(jià)買(mǎi)入了。這樣Smith就幫她買(mǎi)入了，就是buy in。
當(dāng)然，隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)的發(fā)展、證券軟件的普及，現(xiàn)在許多股民已經(jīng)是坐在家里的電腦前炒股了。只要去證券公司開(kāi)個(gè)賬號(hào)，給電腦裝上證券公司的交易軟件，就可以在“彈指之間”進(jìn)行交易了。
