　　人們之所以關(guān)注歷史研究的方法論，(主要是因?yàn)槭穼W(xué)界內(nèi)部意見不一，其次是因?yàn)橥饨绮⒉徽J(rèn)為歷史是一門學(xué)問/與其說是因?yàn)橥獠繉τ跉v史作為一門只是學(xué)科有效性的質(zhì)疑，還不如說是因?yàn)闅v史學(xué)家自己內(nèi)部的爭論)。

　　He is more a teacher than a writer.

　　more than句型

　　A more than+數(shù)詞，表示“多于.. 以上”的意思。

　　We have been close friends for more than 20 years.

　　我們已經(jīng)作了20多年的好朋友了。

　　The role of natural selection in evolution was formulated only a little more than a hundred years ago,and the selective role of the environment in shaping and maintaining the behavior of the individual is onlybeginning to be recognized and studied.

　　自然選擇在(進(jìn)化/演化)中的作用僅在一百多年前才得以(闡明/表述/解釋/論證/揭示)，而環(huán)境在(塑造/形成/早就)和(保持/維護(hù))個(gè)體行為時(shí)的選擇作用則剛剛開始被(認(rèn)識/承認(rèn)/意識到/認(rèn)可)和研究。

　　B more than+名詞或是動(dòng)詞，表示“不知是，不僅僅”的意思。

　　He is more than a friend to her. 他對她不只是朋友�？赡苓€有更多。

　　They may teach very well， and more than earntheir salaries, but most of them make little or no independent reflections onhuman problems which involve moral judgment.

　　他們可能教的很好，而且也不僅僅是為了賺錢，但是他們中的大多數(shù)對于涉及道德問題的人類問題很少或是沒有進(jìn)行獨(dú)立的思考。

　　more than+形容詞、副詞或是分詞，表示“極其，非常”的意思。

　　My teacher is more than strict with me.

　　我老師對我極其嚴(yán)格。

　　My parents are more than kind to me.

　　我爸媽對我非常好。

　　I can call you anything but boyfriend.

　　我根本不會(huì)稱你為我的男朋友。

　　nothing but只不過是
