　　Everything has a purpose, even machines. Clocks tell the time and trains take you places. They do what they mean to do. Maybe that's why broken machines make me so sad. They can't do what they meant to do. Maybe it's the same with people. If you lose your purpose, it's like you are broken.

They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figure if the entire world was one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reason, too.

　　機(jī)器不會(huì)有多余零件，它們總是需要多少就有多少。所以我覺得，如果世界是個(gè)大機(jī)器，我不可能是多余的。
