商務(wù)英語翻譯簡析

　　【點評】這里原文中有“上下”二字，到底如何翻譯這個“上”字呢？“上”當(dāng)然指的是管理層了。人們常說的“管理人員”常被譯成“managerial staff”，但實際上，英語里更多見的是用management staff或干脆使用management更簡潔明了，只是商務(wù)英語翻譯中可以效法的。比如：高層管理人員（senior/top management），中層管理人員（middle management），基層管理人員（junior management）。同樣，“國際競爭力”通常被譯為“with international competitiveness”。“企業(yè)集團”是conglomerate——a corporation that has diversified its operations usually by acquiring enterprises in widely varied industries�！肮�司上下”可以是management and staff，但最好說the management together with the rank and file。“發(fā)展成為”用foster（比如foster the local industry）一詞比較合適。
